Lake Koenig on the way to the Eagle's Nest, Hitler's hideout during World War 2. The Austrian alps are in the distance. Salzburg is just on the other side of that massif.
Mount Rosa above its impressive glacier. The Matterhorn, unseen, is around 120 degrees to the right.
The Crown massif as viewed from a cave opening on the French border. In just ten feet there is a cliff that drops about a mile!
14,000 foot Mt. Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe, from the Brevant restaurant above the village of Chamonix, France.

Half Dome from Cloud's Rest Yosemite falls Vernal falls Half Dome from Glacier Point
Half Dome Yosemite Falls Vernal Falls Half Dome

The ladder/trail to the top of Half Dome in the distance assends on the viewed left and lit surface, as seen from the mountain top of Cloud's Rest.
Yosemite Falls, in California, the longest waterfall in North America. A 3 mile trail goes to the top from the valley floor.
Perpetual waterfall monsoon mist showers down on hikers as they approach these falls from below. Great on a hot day and only a 3 mile hike one way
From this view point at Glacier Point, begins either an 8 mile trail to the right, or a 3 mile trail to the left, to the Yosemite Valley floor.

Join me on one of my one to four week photographic/video tours of exciting alpine trails in either the European Alps or Yosemite National Park in California, USA!

Alps above Innsbruck

Mount Zugspitze of Germany

Matterhorn
Austrian Alps Bavarian Alps Matterhorn
Innbruck, in the forground, is the home town of Heinrich Berann whose works are sampled on my Gallery page. Germany is just on the other side of the distant massif.
Mount Zugspitze, above Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany, is on the opposite side of the massif above Innsbruck, Austria, pictured left.
This mountain is the crowning jewel of the European alps, and is located above Zermatt, Switzerland.
